FAQ- Frequently Asked Questions
 1) Delete a student?  The system is designed to protect all student data. You don't delete a student. Either leave the student where he is, or your school administrator with a CELLA Online account can transfer the student off of your My Class roster to a Former Students area. If your administrator does not know how to do this, you can contact your Regional Supervisor.

2) Delete a test that has been scored?  The system is designed to protect all student data. You do not delete a scored test. If there is more than one test for a student, just use the correct test report.

3) Incorrect Grade: What if I did not select the correct grade when I added the student and the test report is incorrect? The individual test reports include student responses to individual questions. First correct the grade in the student's profile, and assign the same test again. Then, login as the student, enter the student's multiple choice responses from the previous test report and logout. Login as the teacher and enter your teacher scores from your previous hard copy. You can then ignore the first test report and use, instead, the second test report.

4) Student username is wrong: What if I made a mistake entering the student's ID number as the username when I added the student?
On the My Class list next to the student's name is the [edit] function. Select it and change the username for the student's profile.

5) Student ID already in system: What if the system says that a student's ID is already in the system when I try to add the student?

If the student transferred from another school, he may already be in the system. In that case, contact your regional supervisor to have him transferred to your school.

If you are sure the student is not already in the system, it means someone else accidentally entered that student ID as a username so it is not available. Just add a letter after the letters "mds" but before the student ID to modify it slightly so that the system will accept it (e.g.: mds + a + ID number).

6) Teacher ID is wrong: What if I am a school administrator and entered the wrong staff ID when adding a teacher into the system?  Go to the Teacher's profile and update it.
