Performance Categories
Missing Performance Categories:
Not all AWSchoolTest test forms have Performance Categories.  The CELLA tests report Performance Categories that are tied to a range of student grade levels. Missing performance categories are caused when there is an incorrect grade level set in the student record, OR, the test assigned was the incorrect level for the student’s grade.  If the test level is incorrect, (e.g., the teacher accidentally assigned the Level A form, instead of the Level B for) the correct level test will need to be reassigned and re-administered to the student after the teacher checks the student’s grade level as it is registered in the student account.

If the test level is correct, the problem is in the registered grade in the student account. Take the following steps:

  1. Print out the student test report with all of the student responses.
  2. Change the student grade level.
  3. Reassign the test.
  4. Login as the student and put in the student responses from the printed report—you may also need to re-enter the teacher scored items.
  5. Print out the new student report for the student's permanent record, and make a notation on it that this is an update from an incorrect administration.
